SALVATION IS A GIFT NOT A REWARD

Many Christians believe that they are saved because they do good works. They obey the law. They accept Christ and God is obliged to save them. They think that salvation is a reward for what they did. It is not a reward. You contribute nothing to it. It is a gracious gift that no man is worthy of it. Consider the face value of the cross. It was not an ordinary event. It is supernatural event that man can be saved now because of what Jesus did on the cross. His deity to humanity, His life to the cross, His death to resurrection, and His ascension to His return. The blessing of eternal life and the judgment to eternal damnation. God bless you!
